All bookings are managed through Hallmaster and by making a booking you are agreeing to abide by our Terms and Conditions of Hire. Please ensure you have read them carefully before completing your booking.
Acceptance of bookings is at the discretion of the Hall Management Committee.
Please allow sufficient time within your booking for setting up and clearing away, as there may be bookings immediately before or after your session.
Hirers are responsible for setting up the room to meet their needs and for returning furniture and equipment to its original position at the end of the booking.
Sale of Alcohol
The sale or supply of alcohol at the Hall is not permitted unless prior written approval has been given by the Hall Management Committee and the event complies with the Hall’s current licensing arrangements.
Anyone wishing to sell or supply alcohol as part of a booking must contact the Hall Secretary in advance to discuss the event and the applicable requirements. Please email secretary@lockerleyvillagehall.org.uk.
Payment
Invoices will be issued to the email address provided at the time of booking.
Payment should be made by bank transfer as detailed on the invoice.
Bookings are invoiced in the month following the hire. All invoices must be paid within 30 days of receipt. The Hall reserves the right to cancel future bookings where invoices remain unpaid.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a booking, please give as much notice as possible and notify us in writing by email. Late cancellations may incur charges in accordance with the Hall’s Terms and Conditions.
The Hall Management Committee reserves the right to cancel a booking where necessary for operational reasons (for example, essential building works). In such circumstances, we will give as much notice as possible and, where practicable, offer an alternative booking. If no alternative is taken, any hire charges paid will be refunded. No further compensation will be payable.
